LEONARDO PÁEZ
Rock art researcher, with emphasis on the north-central region of Venezuela. Ph.D. student in Memory and Cultural Heritage and associate researcher at the Laboratory of Interdisciplinary Studies of Material Culture (LEICMA) of the Federal University of Pelotas (Brazil). Leonardo has experience in community work regarding heritage empowerment of rock art sites. Leonardo Páez develops workshops in tourism investment, project training and artisanal technical training. He is the author of several articles and essays on Venezuelan rock art, with participation in national and international academic events. He is currently developing his doctoral thesis entitled "Rock Art and Archeological Heritage in North of South America”.
