Where is the Mesolithic Rock Art?
In Mesolithic Rock Art

I think there are a lot of rock art sites in Iberian Peninsula (for example) that have been mistaken by palaeolithic rock art or just are not being properly considered in their chronology because of the difficulty of characterizing Mesolithic rock art and, mainly, finding rock art or portable art in stratigraphy or that can be dated with datation methods. Tagus rock art complex presents a lot of animals that have been considered (recently) as mesolithic and appear superimposed by schematic rock art from the neolithic/calcolithic/bronze periods.
